Required Documents for Exporting Pets from the UK
Documents required to export pets from the UK will vary according to the destination.
In general, pets will need to be microchipped and accompanied on their travels with a health certificate (the type of which depends on the destination country’s requirements).
Airlines may also require a general health certificate, which is also known as as a ‘fit to fly certificate’. Your veterinary practice will complete these documents before travel.
Pets will also need to be accompanied by their vaccination cards/ certificates and blood test results (if applicable).
Transfur will provide all flight documentation in accordance with individual airline requirements.
